CID Converter

Convert a Google Maps CID between decimal and hex. Paste a Maps hex pair (0x…:0x…) and get the decimal CID used in links.

Pull Place ID + CID from a URL with the ID Extractor, or get them in one click via Basic Audit.

Decimal CID in one doc, hex pair in another—and the link breaks

Google Maps URLs often use hex CID pairs while tools and spreadsheets store decimal CIDs. One wrong format and Maps or Posts links fail.

FAQ

What does a hex pair look like?

Maps URLs often include two hex values like 0x…:0x…. The second value commonly encodes the CID used in decimal form elsewhere.

Is CID enough for review links?

Review request links usually need Place ID (writereview?placeid=…). Use CID for certain Maps and Posts URL patterns; use Place ID Finder for reviews.

Can conversion fail?

Invalid or truncated values will not convert. Re-copy the CID from Maps or run ID Extractor on a full place URL.
